This exquisite swarovski brooch came from my mother's estate and with its beautiful emerald green stones, was the perfect match for the green onyx stones that I used to create this beaded necklace. The brooch hangs slightly to the side, so that the smaller stones drape across the bottom. It's a real show stopper!
StarburstThe focal bead on this necklace reminds me of a piece of ice which has been chipped away in various places. The design of it is directly tied to the winters of my childhood in Ohio, where I would ice skate and sled until my nose and toes were frozen. White pearls cascade down one side like snowflakes falling, while the blueberry quartz is symbolic of the color of the snow filled clouds on those short winter afternoons. I envision the silver beads and Swarovski crystals as the icicles hanging from the eaves and the silver dove clasp reminds me of winter birds flying above the trees.

The large focal beads on this necklace are all handmade by designer, Sherry Kelly. Combined with seeds from Africa and handblown glass beads from Venic, Italy, this necklace has so many stories.
Botwana TreasureThe sterling silver wire artfully woven in and around the colorful beads on this necklace, are a sort of tight wire act. With whimsical playfulness, the lamp work, jade, coral, and swarovski crystals climb to the heights of the piece like a clown on speed. Giggling encouraged...
CircusAs the sterling silver wire wraps itself around the natural coral focal piece, the purple and orange lampwork beads evoke fiery passion and lust. Swarovski crystals and coral rice beads finish the necklace, which is accented with a sterling silver puzzle clasp.
